Milwaukee Environmental Youth Collaborative / Association Reflo
Reflo, an association based in Milwaukee, is dedicated to promoting sustainable water and environmental practices. It has taken the lead of the Milwaukee Environmental Youth Collaborative, a network of thirteen organizations that support young people and help them integrate into society. The goal is to generate a significant impact in the local community.
The program aims to provide employment and training opportunities to more than 160 young people in Milwaukee in the fields of environment, engineering, and community development. This initiative allows participants to gain valuable hands-on experience while contributing to concrete environmental projects that benefit their community.
Thanks to this collaborative program, young participants engage in various projects that include stormwater management, urban agriculture, and other environmental initiatives. This hands-on approach not only trains the next generation of environmental professionals, but also helps create a positive and lasting impact on Milwaukee's urban environment.
