The Veolia Foundation Student Solidarity Prize

Rewarding innovative and supportive student initiatives

Young people, and students in particular, demonstrate a strong capacity for commitment. Led by the Human Resources Department of the France Zone, the Veolia Foundation’s Student Solidarity Award recognizes innovative projects initiated by higher education student associations that align with the Foundation's primary fields of action. The 2026 edition concluded on May 19 with the presentation of awards to three winners.

What is the Student Solidarity Prize?

  • Promoting student initiatives and involvement in projects of general interest.
  • 48 winning associations around the world over the last 16 years.

Who is the Prize for?

Associations made up of students in France or French-speaking countries with a project in one of the Veolia Foundation's three areas of intervention:

  • Humanitarian emergencies and development aid
  • Social links and support towards employment
  • Protection of the environment and biodiversity
